Leo's car has one obvious styling feature missing - the FINS are gone!!  Leo says that the car was delivered new this way - the car has been in his family since 1964, when  his grandfather purchased the car  from the president of Chrysler-Chile, who was a personal friend - who saw the car when it was delivered  new.    If the story is true - its quite a  strange one  - a real anomaly.   Now we may have an answer to this strange situation.  A friend of mine who is from Chile worked for the Customs Dept. there many years ago and has informed me that there was a very large luxury tax imposed on vehicles with fins, starting in 1959.    Sounds reasonable to me!

 It is equipped with power steering and brakes and  has a 383 engine.  Leo is interested in selling this car as well, as his grandfather can no longer drive.   Apparently this is the only 1960 Dodge Polara in Chile.
