Hello Ian:
I searched the web under "60 Dodges" and found your web site.
The White Convertible pictured showing "no owner" is mine! It was
found in a Utah corn field and the four year total restoration was
done by
Malefore Classic Cars in Phoenix. It originally was a 2 door
hardtop, and was made "identical" to the car my father had when I was a
kid. Although our old car was a D-500, the current 383-4bbl is original
with
options like: AM radio, AUTOMATIC swivel seats-(only
year for automatic), Satellite style clock, remote controlled drivers side
mirror. And yes, we DID have spoke hubcaps and white walls at the
time. Our neighbor who sold us the car originally was a Chrysler
Engineer who test drove early models in the Detroit area. I looked
for ten years for this car, and found out many are being sent to
Sweden where they seem to have a cult following. Pretty soon
only a handful will be left. Mine has 72K original miles on it, and
was last driven in
1975. Thanks for your web site. Sam
